What a WONDERFUL day!!!

Man today has been a wonderful day!!! We went to Children's to have Gracie's casts changed. They would have been her third set with one more to go after that. Well to my surprise the Dr. said that everything looked good and there was no need to put more on!! Wow! We were both so excited. We all started to get restless because it is really hard not to get those things wet!!! They gave her some boot walkers to were mostly at night so her feet don't tighten back up. We go back in August for a check up. There is also another very big day for us in August. We also found out yesterday that Gracie got accepted into the ABC pre-school program in the Conway public school district!!!! She is going to go to the same elementary school I went to k-3. It will be Monday-Friday 8-3. They follow the schedule that the public schools do. With that said Gracie has never been to daycare or any thing like that. This is a big step for all of us. I cried yesterday because pre-k is just the beginning. It might as well be kindergarten to me there is no difference. I know she is going to love it. She had me drive by twice yesterday on the way to jump zone yesterday and on the way home. She is very much ready and doesn't understand why she cant go now and has to wait until the 09 school year starts.

Family Friday

Last night we went out for supper at T.G.I. Fridays, and then to a movie. We went and saw the new Disney Pixar film, up. It was so cute!

Gah I can't wait til we are done with these casts!! We went Thursday to have them changed. The white spot on her left foot...... is a wart!! How gross is that! The doctor acted like it was no big deal. Yuck. We had a bad day Monday I think. She cried all day long! I feel so bad for her. This week she wanted lime green but they were out so she got yellow. We go back next Thursday for our third set then just one more after that we hope!

Dance Recital

I'm a week or so late but that's OK. Here is a video of rehearsal and some pics from recital night. The girls did real good. We had to take the summer off because of her casts but we will pick up classes in the fall. Thanks all of yall that came Grace had a good cheering section!

Blanchard Springs

Me and the girls are going to Blanchard Springs tomorrow with Mimi and Pa. I haven't been since I was little but it is so amazing up there. Cant wait to show the girls how neat it is.

whats going on?

Well what a great week it has been so far!! Yesterday the girls and I went to a flea market that's close to our house. This is a new found love of mine! :) The girls enjoyed it too. We found all kinds of cool stuff. We also went over to the humane society. We have been thinking about maybe and that a huge maybe getting a dog. I don't want to just get one out of the paper or worry about having some expensive dog. I want to rescue one. The girls and I found one that we loved but it already had an owner and had just gotten out of the fence or something. The search will go on.

Well Monday we went and Gracie got her casts put on. Everything went so much better than how I thought It was. She did so good!! She was a little nervous, but was such a big girl about it. We were all worried how soon she would be able to walk. Well let me tell you she got right down of the table and walked out of the hospital! I was so impressed. And YES people are asking all the time "what happened to her". Bless her heart she looks like she has just been hurt so bad and has two broke legs. Things are going good though. We go back next Thursday to have them changed.

I had my cousin Megan today and us three girls were going to go swimming. We knew it was going to rain so we ran to walmart to waste some time and let it pass. Dad called me while we were there and said it was hailing at his work. We payed to our stuff and headed to the car to get home and get my car under the carport. We got home and I started in on making the girls a home made pizza. We were all in the kitchen when we heard the loudest lightning strike I have EVER heard in my life, then the power went out. We went out on the patio and Megan said she saw some people running around and I thought oh they were just running to their car or something. Well no that wasn't the case. We heard sirens and I thought maybe there was a wreck on Harkrider. Well that wasn't the case either. That lighting strike that knocked the power out hit a tree at The Gathering right behind our house and it caught fire. It burned 20 minutes before they knew what was going on. Smoke was blowing everywhere and fire trucks were parking in my yard. I thought oh great this could get bad. Luckily they got it all out and nobody was hurt. I snapped some pics with my iphone to show you guys. It was just bananas!!
