Rainy Sunday

What better way to spend a rainy Sunday???? Jon and Kate Plus 8 has been on since Jimmy left on Friday. I have watched and DVR'd so many episodes I feel like I am part of their family!!

PRCA Pro Rodeo

I know you cant pick her out but look how many kids did the calf scramble and this is just 6 and under!!

We went to the PRCA pro rodeo last night. Man it was fun. Before the rodeo we went to Fuji and ate with a bunch of our cousins. Gracie got sooo excited when bronc riders came out. She just thought it was the craziest thing ever. Her words were "I did that remember" . I wish I could forget! That scared the crap out of me. Midway through they did a calf scramble for the young kids. Prize was $200! We all did a bunch of coaching for Grace. She got close but didn't win. We all had such a good time even thought it did sprinkle on and off. Cant wait til the one next year.

OK I had to just say that I no longer dislike short hair. Well on the girls that is. Gah she is just so cute I could eat her up!! This is her in her new outfit with her new haircut. What a cutie!

Momma's Day

Mother's Day morning I had some home made pancakes! yumm! I love pancakes. Gracie was supposed to help cook them but fell back asleep. Dad did such a good job though. How cute are my mom pancakes!! After breakfast we went to Little Rock to visit with the DeQueen crew. Poppa was still in ICU but doing very good. It was so good to see everybody. We ate at our fav. BBQ place the whole hog. They have one in Conway but we have never eaten at the new one in Little Rock. It was delicious!!! We came home and burned some sticks we picked up in the yard. For dinner Dad cooked again!! Eggs, Bacon, and for me and Grace another pancake. We love breakfast food in this house. It was such a wonderful day

bye bye long hair

OK I am not a fan of short hair..... at all! Gracie has been asking to get her hair cut for months now. Well yesterday I just couldn't take it anymore. Her hair was soooo long and just getting in the way so I told her I would take her and have it cut. I just knew I was going to be in tears! :( Jimmy couldn't believe how much we really cut off. It makes her look older in my opinion.
