Santa came!!

This was the first year that Gracie understood about Santa. She actually talked to him this year, told him everything she wanted and had her picture made. I was so proud of her! She is just so shy sometimes. It's funny to see my little dare devil princess be sooo gurly. When she woke up Christmas morning, she was just out of it. (it takes her a minute or 30 to wake up LOL) Of course she wanted to put the Cinderella dress on right away. When she finally woke up she would open gifts and say "Oh my word guys look at this!" It was so cute. We had such a great holiday season!! I enjoyed getting to see everybody, and spend time with family!! We are off to DeQueen again this weekend and I am ready!!!

Looking at lights

We went and looked at Christmas lights last night and here is the winner. This yard was coverd!! they had a dancing Santa out front with a sack of candy caines for the kids. It was awesome.

Christmas in DeQueen

Christmas in DeQueen went by so fast! All of Jimmy's aunts were in from Texas. We played a lot of cards and a lot of rock band. Sydney really thought it was cool and loved playing the drums! Gracie finally agreed to go to church. She has been kind of shy about it the past couple months. She did real good and we had no problems. We are happy that we are going to be able to get back into church now.

Pictures

Last month my cousin and I had some pictures made of our girls for GiGi. All the pictures turned out real good!! They were just all so pretty! I wanted to share some with everybody who didn't get to see them. I wish I could get them all up. The one in black and white it the one we decided to give. It's just so good!

Little Ms. Toes

So here it is.... Gracie went to the doctor at 11 months when she started walking because she walked on her toes. They decided to make her some shoes that would make her walk heal toe. Well she acted like she was in pain when she wore them and she didn't enjoy them at all! So we didn't put them on her. Now that she is pushing three we took her back because she is still up on them toes. They made more shoes and told me that if it didn't work the next step was cutting her heal cords. She has been going to physical therapy for about two months now three times a week. This is her last week, and I am excited about that! When we went to pick the shoes up and try them on I was so nervous. She did soooooo good though!! I was so proud of her. She wears them pretty much all day now. Sometimes she tries to get away with getting them off by telling her daddy that her feet hurt. (he is such a softy when it comes to her). So everything is moving along. I just pray that the shoes work. We have and appointment to go to children's in April for them to evaluate her so pray for us!!!

She told me that she loves trick for treating. I cant wait to see what she will want to be next year!

It was almost like they were playing a bunch of middle school kids.... but thats ok. We still had so much fun!

Paint the town purple

The Dental Office

Today at the office we all got decked out in our UCA purple to celebrate. Dr. Clark got all us shirts, tattoos, and hair paint. It was a big change for the Dental Office. It was like we weren't even really working. He gave us a camera to play with all day to take fun photos for our website. None of us could get over the fact we were in jeans and t-shirts at work. It was a pretty laid back day and we all enjoyed it!

Petit Jean

Today we all went to Petite Jean for a picnic and to hike to the bear cave. Gracie was so excited because she thought she was going to see were "Beary" used to live. The weather was real nice and the girls did so good! We saw one snake on the way but it was a baby. We got a ton of phots so I just thought I would make a slide show instead of trying to pick a couple. After we got done hiking we went to the over look and grave site for a picnic.

Arora picnic and Fuji Steak House

Beautiful Girls
~Best Friends~
Today we went to the second annual Arora picnic. Arora is the organ donning center my brother Ben donated to. The picnic this year was at Burns Park. It is for the donor families and people who received organs. It is really special for me. I miss my brother a lot. We had so much fun just watching the girls play. It was so hot outside though!! Sydney and Megan do such a good taking care of Gracie and making sure she is having fun. I'm looking forward to going next year.
We went to Fuji tonight for dinner. We love going to eat there. You can never go there and not have fun! Last time Sydney was with us she really didn't get into it. We have taken her to Sho Guns before and she didn't like it then either. She did so good this time!! Everybody had so much fun and we laughed the entire time. Our chief was the best one we have had so far. Here are some photos from dinner.

Our Little Hog Fans

We had a cookout for the hogs game on Saturday. Gary, Nicole, Bladen, and some of my family came over and hung out with us. Sydney, Megan, and Gracie had lots of fun playing and watching The Sweet Life of Zach and Cody. There was a lot of yelling at the t.v. going on. I enjoyed just being around a baby. Bladen is so sweet, and looks just like his daddy! The game was a big disappointment!! After that we went to the fair for the second time. Again Sydney and Megan had fun together. Beside the Hogs blowing it again, we had so much fun!!

Gracie's Surgery

Gracie finally had surgery today on her tongue. Dr. Collins did the procedure for us, and he is just awesome! He is a maxiofacail surgeon here in Conway. As most of you know when she was born there was a white bump on the end of her tongue. After asking her doctors about it for two years now, her dentist finally said we should have it checked out. We had a visit with Dr. Collins about two months ago, and we decided to go ahead and have it removed. We had to be at the hospital at 5:30 this morning! They gave Gracie some medicine to help her relax while we waited in her room. She was so funny just talking, but making no sense what so ever! The nurse found her some red sock so she could wear ruby slippers and she had to show everybody!!! All the nurses just loved her. So they took her back and me, Pa, MiMi, and GiGi all went and had some breakfast. By the time we got back to the waiting room they were walking down the hall looking for me. I went back in recovery with here and she was not happy!! So I had to sit there for 30 minutes and try to calm her down. there is a hole in her little tongue were the white bump was. He said that it was a little deep, so I'm glad we got it off there now before it grew in deeper! They are sending it off to a lab to have it checked out. She is doing OK just a little cranky from the anesthesia, but everything went real smooth!!

Horseback riding in Lollie

We took the girls horseback riding today. Sydney was scared most of the time, but when it was over and hour and a half later she said she had fun. Gracie loved the idea at first but soon got tired and tried to go to sleep. I was riding Brownie and Jimmy was on Whiskey. The scenery was so pretty. The trial takes you down by the Arkansas river. Which is just down the sandbar from my parents. Jimmy and I want to go back for this thing they have where you ride to the river and they have diner set up for you by the water. It would be a lot different without the girls though. But nice for us. The times that Sydney rode with me we had to go up some hills and Ol' Brownie ran up them. She said later that she liked that part. When Gracie rode with me she wanted to drive and made me let go. All in all I think we had a good time and cant wait to go back. Me and Jimmy are going to go by ourselves a couple times too.

Fun with my love!

This past week I got a chance to go with Jimmy on the road. We had so much fun!! We were in OKC for a couple days then moved to Paul's Valley. OKC was so neat. There was so many things to do there. We went to the harkins theater to see Halloween. The screen was huge like the Imax or something. The next night we went to eat at this wing place for 40 cent wings. After that we went to the marble slab place (like cold stone) to have some ice cream. From there we rode the water taxi down the canal and just relaxed. It was so neat! We decided to stop at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill for some drinks before heading home. That place was so cool. I would love to go back some day. The next day is when we headed to Paul's Valley. It was a small town. We enjoyed just driving around and looking at house and picking which one was our favorite. I like the one with the huge elephant ears out front. I had so much fun just spending time with my husband!!! But did miss the girls terribly! I'm glad to be home but don't want Monday to come. Here are the some more pictures from the trip.Toby Keiths I love this Bar from the water taxi
Bricktown ballpark. They also had the ASA softball hall of fame in OKC

I thought this guy was neat. Down by the water taxi

Go Cats!

Tonight we were going to go to the Wampus Cat game but we just ran out of time. I took some pictures of Syd in her cheerleading uniform anyway just for fun. She looks so cute in her blue and white. We are going to try to go horseback riding tomorrow if it doesn't rain us out. It was going to be a surprise but Sydney found out. I hope at least Gracie is surprised. No matter what we decide to do I will make sure to take some photos to post. There will be more football games to come as well!

In loving memory of Ben

Four years ago yesterday my brother Ben was shot, and four years ago today he went to be with the lord. The past four years have been very hard for me. Im sure that the next four will be just as hard. The person that took his life is still leading a free life. That makes it just a little bit harder. Yesterday Gracie, GiGi, and I went to the cemetary to take some flowers. One thing I wish more than anything is that Gracie would have been able to know her uncle. He would have loved her! Here are some pictures from yesterday that I took. I miss you everyday Ben and love you so much!!!Gracie looking at unlce Bens picture
