Our little Cheerleader

Sydney's cheer squad did a little half time show at the UALR game on Sunday. Let me apologize for the terrible pics i had to use my phone. Anyway, it was so cute! They did such a good job. I thought they were better than the UALR cheer squad. Nicole got some better pics so I'll try to get them up soon. Hope everybody made it home safe with all these icy roads. They are pretty bad here.

Branson

We went to Branson the weekend after Thanksgiving. It was soooo cold!! It snowed a little bit. We went to silver dollar city, which was awesome as always. Gracie got to ride her first real roller coaster. It was the first one I rode that made me cry when I was like 9. I love them now and anything that goes high and fast!. She loved it! No shock there. It was so beautiful with all the Christmas lights covering everything! We had a lot of fun.

Thanksgiving

This year on Thanksgiving, we spent it with the Fulmer's. We headed out to my cousins house on Round Mt. I snapped a pic of Gracie before we left by our tree. It was such a wonderful day.

Christmas tutu

I have been wanting to try to make some tutu's forever now! I finally got the chance to make Gracie a Christmas one. It being the first one I made. I wasn't sure of how long and all the measurements. This one ended up being very fluffy. It is sooooo cute though. I was wanting to add some ribbons to it. I just couldn't find any I liked. I already have some great ideas for some more. Gracie loves it!!

Visiting the Dentist

It took me forever to talk Grace into getting her teeth cleaned.... Since that's what I do, I told her if she would let me do then I wouldn't make her go to Dr. Friend. She agreed and everything went OK. A lot of laughing!

Those rainy summer evenings

It has been raining a lot here lately. Sometimes I let Grace run around in the rain as long as there is no thunder. This is something she loves to do. In front of our apt. a large puddle gathers in the grass so we were trying to get her to slide in it. It was to hard for her to comprehend what we were saying so Jimmy just had to show her. Enjoy this rainy summer evening video

The girls

I just wanted to post some pictures of the girls from this summer. They sure are some beautiful young lady's! I love my girlie's.

Ms. Shilo

Well about two months ago we got a new kittie. Little Ms. Shilo is a calico cat. She is so beautiful!! I think the louder Gracie screams the more she chases her!! They are always playing with each other. She is very good with her and just kinda lets Gracie do whatever she wants. Its funny how she always finds time to play in the middle of the night and is ready and waiting to get your ankles in the morning!

Then
now

July 4th

I know I know.... it's almost September. I have been soooo busy! We went to the country club and sat on the golf course to watch the fireworks. It was a lot of fun and the girls just loved it. We had a front row seat on a blanket in the grass. How much better can you get! After that we headed to the river to shot our own stuff. We didn't let Gracie do any of the lighting this year. she is to dangerous! lol. We made her stick to the sparklers!

Buffalo River

Well I wanted to let everyone know Thumper was set free on Saturday! She or He made it.

Saturday morning Jimmy and I dropped Gracie of with Mimi and Pa and headed to the Buffalo. We went with a group of 11 people. It rained the entire trip up there but we prayed the entire trip the weather would let up. We loaded into the van at Gilbert at 1 and headed to the river. The weather was perfect!! We did the six mile float Tyler's bend. It was so beautiful! We always went there when I was little but never floated. Everybody had sooooo much fun!!!! We camped Saturday night and headed home Sunday. We are pumped about going back!! here are some fun pictures

Thumper

Pearl (Mom and Dads dog) apparently found a baby rabbit today out at the river. Mom said she caught her playing with it out in the yard. We thought it may be hurt, but I'm thinking now she may be OK. We are going to try to feed it until it can be set free. I sure hope that it makes it.

Great Wolf Lodge

We went to the Great Wolf Lodge over the weekend! It was so much fun!!!! All of Jimmy's family was there. We had a big family bash for Keggey's birthday. I had a water camera but haven't used all the pictures so when I do I'll post some water slide pictures. I hope they turned out. We enjoyed being with the entire family all weekend.... couldn't have asked for anything better. Me and Sydney had fun going down the tornado with Hayden and Kaylee. I'm soooooo proud of you Syd for going on the scariest and roughest water slide there and loving it. (I think she ended up going about 6 times!!!!)

OK so we went to the mall and the girls wanted to ride this bungee jump trampoline thing. (not Sydney) Gracie couldn't jump so the guy had to pull her legs. She went soooo high!!!!! She loved it and cried when her turn was over..... Sydney did ride it but wasn't so into it and didn't want to go high. Check out the air Gracie catches sorry the video is side ways!!

Sydney and Swimming

This weekend I made some progress with Sydney learning to swim. I got her to swim across the deep end without any assistance. After I got her to do that she was pretty comfortable swimming from the shallow end to the ladders at the deep end. The next day I talked with her about jumping in the deep end..... she didn't like that idea very much. We came to a compromise and she jumped in holding a noodle. Then she would run and jump in. By the end of the summer (fingers crossed) I am going to try to have her where she can jump in and just swim. I am also wanting to have her riding a bike by the end of the summer. Ill keep everybody posted on our progress. Her is a video of her jumping over Megan into the 8 foot.

Wild River Country

Friday we took the girls to WRC. Gosh it was fun. It is so different from when I was young. We road a lot of slides!! Enjoy the pictures.
