Blake Shelton

GOING TO SEE BLAKE SHELTON FRIDAY. SO EXCITED

Pre pageant

This Saturday is Gracie's first pageant. She will be competing in the Petite Miss Daze pageant at Toad Suck Daze. I also entered her in the photogenic competition. I went and got her a green pageant dress in honor of toad suck. I think she looks like a little square dancer in it. She loves that dress!! She is sponsored by Dr. Monty Clark. So there will be some pictures of her on the Dental Office website soon. Wish us luck!! I will post pics. from the pageant after this weekend and maybe she will be wearing a crown.

Roller Rink

Saturday we went to the roller rink. Gracie had the smallest pair of skates I have ever seen! They were adorable. (sorry I didn't get a picture of them) Gracie surprisingly did OK. They had a huge maze and two bounce houses outside. The girls played in the maze and me and Jimmy skated. It was so fun. It was like 5th grade all over again. I used to spend a lot of my time up there. The girls loved the bounce house. When we were getting ready to go we stoped to watch the races. They were going to do a foot race to. Sydney and Gracie joined in. In Gracie's age division there weren't many. She ended up getting third. It was hilarious watching the little ones. In Sydney's age division there was only one other girl and like four boys. I was nervous that the boys would just smoke them. Boy was a pleasantly surprised when my track star Sydney skunked them all. I was so proud! It was awesome!! We had so much fun!! Can't wait until Toad Suck!

Donor family night at the zoo

Friday was donor family night at the zoo. Arora opens the zoo for donor families after hours and you get t-shirts and food. Plus they bring some of the zoo animals out so you can pet them and take pictures. Last year I felt like see didn't get to see as much. This year we didn't leave until it closed. We all rode the carousel (even GiGi) on the way out. Gracie got to ride a camel, pet a hedge hog, and a possum. I got to hold the possum on my shoulder and it wasn't that fun!! Jimmy got a picture right before it like was all stuck in my hair. It started to freak me out. Most importantly we came together to celebrate the special gift my brother gave. He helped save lives. He was such an amazing person for the people who truly knew him. He would have done anything to help anybody. He is very much missed and loved.

Happy Birthday Gracie

We celebrated Miss Gracie's 3rd birthday on Saturday. We rented a room at playworld again this year. We had a great turn out of friends and family. All the kids had so much fun playing in the maze. All the "big kids" (adults) had fun playing all the games. It was such a long day!! We didn't end up getting home until like 10:30. After the party we went to eat the family from DeQueen that came up, and then headed to Krissy and Billy's so the girls could play. Everything was perfect. The cake, kids, weather, and the company! Thanks everybody that came out to celebrate with us. Enjoy all the pics.

Chris Cagle

Chris Cagle is coming to UCA on the 24th. I am so excited! It's on a Thursday so Jimmy wont be getting to go. Autumn, Jeremy, and I talked mom into going. I love love love going to concerts. I hope mom has a good time. Gracie is going to stay with Pa out at the river while we are gone. I'm just going to stay with them when its over. Dad redid my old room for Gracie a couple months ago. He let her pick the paint and everything. Pink of course. We stayed out there the other night when it was storming. My grandparents live right in front of them and have a storm seller. (I like storms just not tornado's) We were laying in bed and I was telling Gracie how her new room used to be mine when I was a little girl. She just looked at me like I was crazy and said "Mom your silly this is my room". Anyway I'll have some more fun concert picks soon.

Childrens Hospital visit

Today was Gracie's apt. at Children's. We had to be there at eight this morning. (terrible I don't miss driving to school everyday) I couldn't sleep last night from all the stress of what they would say. The doctor was having her walk so she could see how she toe walks.... and of course Gracie was walking normal. She did all kinds of test with her. She went to get another doctor and had him see her. They decided that everything with her legs and feet were OK. They said her heel cords were a little tight but nothing to be concerned about. What a relief!! They said she would grow out of it with time probably by the time she was in kindergarten. He also told me if I was really worried we could have casts put on her legs and feet for three weeks that would have to be changed once a week. Jimmy and I decided not to do the casts. We have to take her back in six months so they can check again and make sure things are still going OK and not getting worse. I'm so glad its over!! I was worried to death after talking to the physical therapist about the surgery they may have had to do on her legs!! I'm so glad it turned out to be something that would just stop with time.

Always on those toes

Anniversary

Tomorrow is mine and Jimmy's two year anniversary. Its so hard to believe that we have known each other for six years much less married for two. We have been through some wonderful things together. I am so lucky to have him in my life. We were truly made for each other. He makes me want to be a better person. Here is to many more anniversary's. Also he got me the phone I have been wanting and I LOVE it! :) So did Sydney, she was texting Molly and just loved getting messages back.

Learning to ride

Yesterday we went out to Pleasant Valley to visit with Autumn and Jeremy. Megan was there so that turned out good for all the girls to play. We got to ride horses and help feed the cows. Together we all taught Sydney how to ride by herself. She loved it. She even got to give Gracie rides. Dad has been on a quest for the girls their own horse. He still has to put the fence up though. The don't know about it yet, it is going to be surprise. :) Anyway we all had a great time! and can't wait to go out there again. Enjoy all the fun pics!
